Client Service
FALC runs client service as a system.
The infrastructure behind it is visible in the record.
- 01
Immediate acknowledgment
All client phone calls are returned and all emails acknowledged on the same working day.
- 02
Comprehensive documentation
Detailed supporting documents for all call-off engagements, including timesheets where relevant, so clients have a clear record of the services provided.
- 03
Proactive engagement
We actively anticipate challenges and seize opportunities, keeping clients informed and involved at all critical stages of the engagement.
- 04
Client-centric approach
We place clients at the heart of our practice, understanding their business needs deeply and tailoring our responses to help them achieve their goals.
Reporting infrastructure
Every current matter carries a system-generated client update as its latest touchpoint. Each update states the case name, assigned lawyers, next hearing date, adjournment reason and judgment text. Every client receives the same automated case reporting, and team coverage on every matter.
Dispute management approach
Managed against the client's commercial objectives.
Each matter begins with a detailed assessment of the facts, documents and legal position. The team then evaluates the available options, the risks and the most appropriate strategy. Throughout proceedings the client receives updates on material developments, and each matter is managed against the client's commercial objectives. Beyond litigation, the firm provides preventive legal advice on contractual, commercial, labour and regulatory matters, identifying and addressing legal risks before they become disputes.
Goodbye paper, hello efficiency. By streamlining our processes and reducing our reliance on paper, we free up more time for what matters most: the client.
Conflicts of interest
Identification and management
We run an enquiry check before engaging any client. Any conflict arising during an engagement is disclosed under clear protocols and mitigated.
Procedure
If a conflict of interest is identified, we immediately implement our conflict resolution procedure, notifying all relevant parties and segregating the affected personnel and information. Our goal is transparency and the integrity of our services.
Training programmes
FALC provides training programmes on request across various legal fields.
Two flagship modules:
Contract Risk and Claims Management (Commercial + Operational)
Contracts with vendors, service providers, transport and logistics contractors and commercial counterparties often create recurring sources of disputes. The module covers: key clauses that typically drive disputes (payment, variation orders, liability, indemnity, termination, force majeure, notices), managing claims and counterclaims early to prevent escalation, practical steps for documenting performance and managing defaults, and settlement strategy and decision-making from a commercial perspective.
Employment Law Essentials
A core essential for all businesses in Oman: most Omani companies will face labour disputes, as will foreign companies operating in Oman that keep well-governed vendor and buyer relationships but run into employee disputes. The module provides an introduction to employment law essentials.
Next step
Discuss a mandate.
An enquiry check runs before any engagement, and client names may be withheld at this stage.
